Virtual Therapy

My practice is exclusively virtual

The COVID protocols initially forced my hand, but I actually fell in love with virtual therapy, along with my clients. From my perspective, nothing is lost with virtual therapy – in fact, I think you end up gaining more.

Virtual therapy allows me a rare inside view into my clients’ lives and homes that therapists aren’t privy to during office sessions. Best of all, I have gotten to know them in their natural environments wearing their comfortable clothes at the place where they feel the most like themselves.

In addition to those benefits, my clients appreciate not having to find and pay for parking, primp for our sessions (a.k.a., put on normal clothing), or allow for extra travel time to and from a therapy office.

All in all, virtual therapy has been such a positive experience over the last two years that I have decided to continue indefinitely.

The process is easy and safe

I use a secure and confidential platform that only requires you to click a link, and then our session begins. There are no passwords, no meeting IDs, only a simple link.

The entire process happens like this. When you’re ready to book a free 15-minute consultation, you either call or email me or submit the contact form below. We will have a brief chat on the phone to see if the fit feels right.

We contact each other via email to book the first virtual session. As a reminder, you will receive an email notification 24 hours in advance of our first session, along with a link to join the session.

From that point, you will receive a reminder each week, 24 hours ahead of our session. That way, if for any reason you need to cancel or change our scheduled session time or day, you can reach out to me via email or text to let me know of the cancellation or change. The procedure is super simple and more straightforward than Zoom’s requirements of entering meeting codes and passwords that still don’t ensure it will work.

Nothing lost, much gained

If you haven’t tried virtual therapy before, I hope that you will have an open mind and give it a try.

Virtual therapy can be just as rewarding as in-person therapy and even better in some ways. Create a relaxing space for yourself and grab a coffee or tea. Click the link that was sent to you, and there I will be on the other end, waiting to say hi.
